It is always good when things are going your way for friends and family as well for yourself.
For instance,
Hiromi and John:
Their budding relationship and her turning 30. It was also a nice mini reunion with Raven and Mona whom I haven’t seen in a while and of course Mona is Mona. And of course Steve who I wish was secretly gay. SORRY HIROMI, But he was a good “date"!!! It was such a great time seeing all these friends who I meant in the recent years together having a blast and great time at Bluepointe seafood restaurant. Raven, Mona, Myself and Steve on one side, Hiromi, John and John’s friend on the other end, like a firing squad. We volley off questions at him and came right back us. I actually like John and told Hiromi just that. I intially didn’t like him before the dinner because of what Hiromi and I have confided before but my intial impression of him has changed. We even went out to a pub afterward for beers. I am glad to see Hiromi so happy, Hiromi has since become a close confidant in matters of the heart and life. I gauge her on advice and sound judgment. Seeing her turn 30 was definately my highlight of my week. Hiromi and I will be running together in the San Francisco Marathon, another 1st for us.
Mona: Sorry about Sunday. I went clubbing on Saturday night and couldn’t wake up on time. I didn’t want to deal with the wrath of Mona!
On Close Buddies:
6 of us are going to Seattle and Vancouver on July 15th. It will be our first trip together to another country together. There have been constant planning trying to fit in an iternary that will fit everyone’s needs. We are slowly getting it together and I can’t wait for this trip to begin. I will also see some close gay friends who I haven’t seen in a while WOOHOOO.
On New People:
I just got off the phone with M is a guy who I was cooresponding by email for the last couple of days. He has a serious sexy voice but his demeanor and intelligence and yes even the way he can carry a conversation really has my attention. He lives in SF and seems to have a good head on his shoulders. We made tentatively made plans to go out for dinner on Friday. Worse thing to come out of this is me gaining a new friend. But one can be hopeful, but alas, I am a realist these days. (PS: He does know about my blog. )
On Job Front:
They are keeping me around longer, I was supposed to leave today but the cases I was working on needed me to around to continue. I have some great reccomendations from my coworkers and manager and I should start interviews this week or next. YIPPY!
On Charity:
I am again will be doing the Blogathon for various charities. (Yes there will be more than one this year.) I have been asked this year to become a Team Leader for the group. It is a high honor to be doing such a great thing for this wonderful group for various charities. I have been organizing on the backend. More details to follow about how you can donate and what Blogathon is all about. I also have my little slaves errrr Site Monitors that I will be organizing with. I will blog about them later. AND I NEED SPONSERS I will be merciless on asking you guys for donations.
But as I reflect my many upsides there is a downside:
The Gay Gang:
I haven’t heard from them in over a month. But I am not too disappointed in that. I guess I am in a different stage in life from them. I have gotten out of the clubbing scene and they really haven’t yet. They know I will be there for them. But we’ll see. I been reflecting that all my close ones that I rely on advice and confidence are all away from me but one. Two in Vancouver, one in Taiwan and one in Singapore. I don’t know why but the ones I make here always haven’t very lasting. But my dear friends that have stuck by me through the years are still around. That’s what matter.
I know I am being reflective tonight, but I think it warrants a long entry tonight.

Bad News: I lost my cell phone. Couldn’t happen at the worst possible time. I need to get one reactivated quick. *sigh*
Good News: I ran across Golden Gate Bridge and back home. 12.5 miles give a take a half mile. I couldn’t believe it. 4.5 months ago I would have laugh in your face that I can do it. Now. I can live without running. hehehe.

I started to collect these credit card offers on the last week of May to see how much of these freaking credit card offer I would get in one month. As you can see, there is a LOT. More than 60. What the in hell do they KEEP ON SENDING THESE THINGS TO ME. ARRRGHHHH. I hate getting them. I am tempted to open them and send those prepaid envelopes back to them just to get them back. Don’t you guys agreed with me. Waste of paper and waste of my time. I have to get a shredder now because it gotten so bad. BAH!!!

So my friends have been commenting on my legs these days. The constant running has made my legs looking rather good. My friends who went with me to Yosemite last week has commented me on the changes happening to me physically and they fully approved. But they have to drop that one nickname of “Chicken Legs” off their list now. hahaha.

Pearly’s wedding was also my first trip to New York City and New Jersey. Pearly and Johnny picked me up from the airport and dropped off my stuff at her friend’s place. I soon met Angeline who is a total sweetheart and a car fanatic. We soon left for her condo (which is totally by the way) to meet with her parents. Her parents are such nice people. They soon show me directions to get to downtown New York City so I can do some shopping and sightseeing. I manage to see Time Square, Empire State Building and Rockafeller Center. But my main two goals was H&M and Mexx. I got some fabulous clothes from there and quickly went back to New Jersey. The wedding cermony itself and cocktail hour and wedding dinner afterwards was stunning and beautiful
I met so many wonderful, wonderful people there. One of which is Angeline who I been reading for ages. She totally is one cool chick. Also realize that she has a thing for cars….fast cars…. Another person was Holly my fellow clubber and part of the 4aunties group. She really can put those moves on. Finally I can’t forget these new East Coaster Friends like Connie, Mavis and Freeman, Jeff and Christine (Christine is the girl, if I would straight would make such a cute couple together. hahahaha oh FABULOUS DANCER), these two couples are the two coolest couples that I got to hang out with. They all blog all about it and the stories all seems to start running together. So I rather refer you to their sites.
But all I got to say is that I had a wonderful time and it will be a trip I won’t forget for a long time.
