Well lots of interesting things been happening for me which warrants a few updates

- It seems that once I tell people that I have been running that the first thing they do is grab my calves to confirm that I have been doing it. Apparently they been very impress with my legs and telling me to wear shorts from now on hahaha. Perverts.

- I had a friend from Singapore who visited to me last week. Very cool guy and easy going. I took him shopping around town and it been pretty cool hanging out with him. Another friend of mines is coming in August, my dear godbro. So excited!

- C and I….well most likely we will be friends. He’s way too needy and it’s all about him, him, him. I thought it was best that I don’t put myself in a situation where it’s going to be one-sided. So I been putting some distance between us.

- My trip to New York City and New Jersey is coming up. I have the honor of walking Pearly’s mom down the aisle and doing the introduction at the banquet. Very excited as well. Lots of pictures will follow next week.

- I am doing two marathons now. Hiromi’s ex-boyfriend challenge me to do the San Francisco Marathon in July. He thinks I can’t do it. So I am NOT going to let someone issue a challenge to me and not do it. So Hiromi and I are both doing the first half of that marathon which will take place at 5:00AM in the morning. Yes we are nuts but I got something to prove to myself that I can do this.

- You can have lots of fun with a summer intern once you get stuck with him on the weekend. My new friend J is a summer intern who is working on a case with me. We spent today (a holiday) and yesterday working together to do finish off a case. He’s 19 and a very cool guy. Always make me laugh, we have so much to talk about and boy can he be wild kid. But then again who wasn’t wild at 19?

- Finally I am doing a goatee as you can see in the current pic. It’s slowly coming along. My look has been turning into sporty these days. Compare to the dress up GQ days. That’s a huge change.

- There are still good people left in this world. I lost my phone at the club Sunday and one of the girls that works there (who’s majorly cute by the way.) ask if she found it what I would I do. Of course I said I give her a big tip. She then produce it and told me she found it in one of the bathrooms. I gave her a 20 and a big hug. She saw how stress out I was and made sure I had it before I left. What a relief.

And the results are in for the Bay to Breakers.

Both Hiromi and I both came in at 1:07:38 and 1:07:31 respectively which ended up with the race ranking of 2108 and 2079. Very excellent time for two people doing the 12km for the very first time. All those months of training producing the end results of one of my favorite moments in my life. It tops it up there when I graduated and turning 21 hehe. A total high. A natural one not the druggie one.

The Bay of Breakers is definately the most interesting race in the world. So many sights to take in while you are trying to stay focus and trying to reach the finish line. The first 3 miles were horrible for me, with so many people trying to past you and trying to clock in with the fastest time. My first time and going with the elite runners it was tough but both Hiromi and I kept an excellent pace. There was so many times where I wanted to start walking but I refused to do it. I wanted to complete the race with a good time. Somehow the next 3 miles I went into this “Runner’s High” where my breathing was under control, didn’t get winded or ache as I run. I just kept a very constant pace and in tune with Hiromi. With mile 7 came my hardest run, with the finish line in sight. The last 400 yards was probably the longest to do. You can tell your body is giving way and all you want to do is quit but somehow I made it to the end. I saw the time and I jumped up in the air. WOOHOOOOO!!!! I knew that was my fastest time ever also my first time completed a 12km run. Both me and Hiromi were estatic and had a hearty breakfast to celebrate!!! We spent the time recapping the race and feeling very accomplished. We both hope the pictures will come out soon so I can share it with you guys.

Funny how the right timing can change a course of things to happen to you.

C. after 3 years of absence from my life……a total of over 5 years of knowing each other suddenly IM me at my junk screen name account on AOL., it was a screen name I didn’t recognize and it is just plain luck that I decided to open up that screen name to take a look of the message. C ask me if I knew who is and at first I didn’t, until C spell out his first name to me and I immediately recognize him. After all these years, he was talking to me again.

He recently came out of a 2.5 year relationship and decided to find some people from his past and somehow he found me online. We started talking again and it really didn’t feel like all these time have pass, but it did… I am a different person than I was 3 years ago. But talking with C it felt very natural.

He ask if I can go down to San Jose to see him and I did. I took the train down and he pick me up, our first desination was a mall to go shopping. Along the way we both ask if we have change that much in 3 years. We both didn’t change that much physically but mentally, I know that both of us are different days. We both play some catch up with each other and not suprisely we have different outlook in life. I am more realistic about life and he a bit more jaded and guarded. But the guard that was there was soon washed away with more time spent with me. He open up so much more than he use before and I am more mature in my thinking more than ever.

After some intense shopping and dinner at the food court. We went back to his place and watch some TV. As we laid in his bed and he put his legs on top of mines. It was comforable andwe gradually cuddle closer. I had very mixed feelings about this closeness that we have for each other but I felt confident enough to tell him that I didn’t want to be his rebound guy and am not going to rush anything, he agreed and gave me a quick kiss. A kiss that was sweet and made me smile. It was decided that I should be getting home soon and wanted him to drop me off at the train station, we then said our goodbyes BUT then half hour later, he call me to say we wanted to go into the city and not wanting to be alone tonight. So he picked me up and off to a gay bar in San Francisco. We had a couple of drinks and dance for a bit and had a total blast. Our night ended with us eating Thai food in the wee hours in the morning and him dropping me at home and keeping him company on the freeway. The funnest time I had in a while.

Today we talked a few times on the phone today and giving each other little updates throughout the day and he said the sweetest thing to me today. He said thank you for spending the day with him and it was the nicest time he had in a long while and it made him happy that I treated him that good. That one statement really made me happy that I can do that for him.

I honestly don’t know where this is going to lead but we had a good history together and I can only hope that something good will come out of this.

As people said sometimes when you aren’t looking, it will come.

Well we want to continue seeing each other and I want him to take his time. I am for sure with me.

Oh I had a wonderful Mother’s day with my mom, I took Mom and Dad out for dinner and that was quite nice.

Running and excersing is my thing these days. Running with an awesome partner like Hiromi who motivates and keeps me in check with my training these day that lately I have burst of energy to accomplished anything these days. With Hiromi around and getting to know each other better these days. I can honestly call her my freind now. Before we gotten to known each other better. It was always Raven and Mona’s friend.but now the dynamics have change. We went bar hopping, saw her cousin-in-law played live music, help persuade to get a guy number and go on a date, went gay clubbing together and share pizza together in our drunk/buzzed state hahaha. Awww friendship isn’t it cool.

The other thing is that I went to an underwear club this past Saturday to celebrate a freind’s birthday. The club was full of guy partying and drinking in their underwear. It wasn’t a requirement but it was highly encouraged. Two questions that I know you guys are wondering. 1) Did I drop down to my underwear. YES…..Shoot it probably my only time ever going to that club. Minus well do it and said I did it! 2) Did I take pictures of the guys and me in it. NO… YOU GUYS WISH!!!!

Finally, got news that my two of my friends from online is coming to San Francisco within the next 6 months. One of them is my “bro” Josh. He is Canadian Chinese in Taiwan right now. We met online and have developed a strong freindship these days. We razzed on each other all the time but we always can talk to each other about thoughts and frustrations. He’s one cool dude.

Other than that busy been training for the Bay to Breakers with my two news shoes: My asics gel evolution 2 and the nike free 5.o both which I adore to run in. I am slowly seeing a definately forming in my body and hopefully I can be lean and toned for the summer. There is still time puahhahah.
