Tonight is the first meeting of Jane Kim’s quest for a place on the School Board.

We basically begun to see where what groups we are targeting to get the campaign funds from and tonight we split into committees to start focusing to achieving our goals in the fundraising department. It is also going to be easy since Matt Gonzalez will be helping out Jane on her campaign as well. So I be rubbing shoulders with the local politicans really soon.

Our group also broke into the policy making group and the events group to start stragetizing what needs to be done and what type of policies are most relevant to what San Francisco school children’s needs. I honestly feel that Jane can run a successful campaign and we would succeed in helping her get elected. San Franciscan voters: You shall be hearing very shortly from me soon!

Tomorrow I am going to an Anti-Hate rally to demand justice.

I miss doing that and I am glad I am doing something I love once again.

I been sleeping over a M’s house a lot these days, cuddling with him to sleep made me realize what I really have been missing in having another person to fall asleep with. But today we decided to take a break to get our own plans for the weekend done. I feel that the relationship with M will lead to somewhere. He genuninely makes an effort to pursue in a relationship with me and vice versa. We’re both are very afraid to put agendas on where this is heading and we both feel that if don’t make long term relationship goals yet then we will both feel better about things. But he assure me that he only has eyes for me and I feel the same way. I have since start putting distance on the guys that I was seeing and focusing my energy to him instead. Things are looking up one way or another but I wish the job situation was looking better than my love life. : )

I learned early on in life that the eyes usually can tell you how much person really likes you or not, how much truth or lies that have been said or how much of the soul you are willng to reveal. And this guy I been talking to who I briefly met to hang out with had the most beautiful, shimmering sapphire blue eyes and I guess from what I can tell from his eyes that he really likes me (that and the nonstop compliments he kept feeding me throughout that really short meeting that I had.) But all in all I look that sh1t and he eyes was mentally undressing me already. But we are meeting up really soon to hang out again.

Maybe I can flirt back with my eyes this time around.

Well I just got back with the head hunter to see what jobs were available and the results were good. I basically have two possible job openinsg that is on my level…it is the same job I was doing before I left the firm. Quite happy with the results of the intial interview and I know I can dazzle them with my charm and intelligence.

And to think not even a week before I got laid off and I am making progress.

Oh the headhunter is majorly cute!!!

Well my cousin from Malaysia/New York and his friend will be leaving tomorrow. It’s one thing to have them around but from the not to GET the hint that we have nothing in common and doing some stuff together is another story. I mean I don’t know anything about them. I don’t speak the dialect that my parents speak and he smokes up the place. Both my sister and I are avoiding them like plague and today I have to go out to dinner with them because my dad’s early Father’s Day dinner. My mom makes a lot of requests that I should hang out with him and the last time I did that we have nothing to talk about. It was very uncomfortable and just because they are family doesn’t mean I have to spend my time with them. I am only close with few of my relatives and I feel that is enough for me. Am I being unreasonable here?

Well day 4 of being unemployed and I am going crazy already. I love working and being busy but having nothing to do is driving me nuts. I got to do some volunteering to keep my mind off things.

Lately the question have been creeping up at a more frequent pace than usual and I kind of disdain this question as of lates.

“Are you dating anybody??!??!”

I sit here eating my TV dinner and typing this entry out. I think you guys know the answer to that question.

I’m not officially dating anyone right now but today along with Mona and Raven got into a discussion about them being married and I being single. Mona exclaimed that “dating sucks and I am so glad I got married.” and to a certain degree, I envy them. Dating is money draining, full with going through your likes and dislikes and finally wondering if this guy likes you enough for another date. Seeing Mona and Raven gave me a hint of jealousy but for me, I know what I want and rather to be with someone just for the sake of having someone, I just rather not lower my standard (which isn’t high in the first place) and go wait it out.

Also last night I went to a gay Asian party full of gay asian guys and their admirers (hee hee) and a lot of them are people I know already. It made me realized that the choice of available men that DON’T know each other is very small. The funny part of things is that I knew the most people among of my buddies that went to the party with me and I don’t even go out that much anymore.

Thank you all you guys for your comments! I really REALLY appreciate all the comments from all you guys. I am in better spirits days and I am so very thankful I have such a stellar group of online and offline friends. You guys are the greatest.

My resume has now been updated and my going to call the unemployment office on Monday. Also going to volunteer my time for a nonprofit since I do have some time now.

Let me give you some a quick updates on some events:

Graduation:

My little sister look so good on stage. She was a Senior Class officer so she sat on stage. I greeted her at the door and presented her the balloon and the flowers and she felt so loved. She was like. “I got leis, flowers and a balloon!!! I feel so love!!!", I wanted to give her things that I didn’t get when I graduated. My sister should not be denied the same things I was. So she is now the SECOND full fledge high school graduate from our household. Me being the first.

Here is two pictures of my sis at the graduation. First one is my sis with my mom and her, the second one is when she got presented with one fo the special awards. : )

Madonna:

Okay so Madonna’s Re-Inventionconcert was off the hook!!! She performed so many of her old songs and she got us memorized with her singing abilities. My buddy Siri and her friend J. throughly enjoy the jam packed show. Did we mention the dancers were hot?!?!? And they made kilts look sexy as well???!?!?!?

Acappella Concert:

I got two tickets to the Acappella Jazz and Pop concert for helping one of the group transcibe a song from japanese to Romanji. They sang a lot of songs from various decades including Some Doo Wap, The Stripper Song, La Vie En Rose, A Beegee Medley, The Samba song that I help transcibe and Creep by Radiohead. My tango partner and I got such a huge blast from it. So if you haven’t gone to an acappella concert. I highly reccomend it. : )

Well my worst fears happen yesterday. I got laid off. At 2pm yesterday. I got call in by head partner and was told that things weren’t working out. Gave some kind of excused and was let go. In a sense I know it was coming and I have been mentally prepared myself already. But the numbing feeling still lingers. Don’t worry I will bounce back but it sucks that I will yet again have to update my resume and go through the job interview process agian. But I do have one weapon. The almighty headhunter who is a good friends with one of my coworkers. I shall rise again.

I have been talking to my coworker and the enviroment is very somber and subdued. I assure my coworkers that everything will be okay and things will be alright. Just have happy thoughts and I will visit soon.

Today:

My sister walk the stage and now a full fledge high school graduate. My sister was in shock when she was honored with the Norse Award, which is given to only 2 high school graduate each other who contributed the most to the school. And she was one of them. More to come.

Madonna Concerts rocks!!!! You had to be there. : D To report tomorrow.

Went to one of the branch office of Capcom. Dude they have the coolest break room. But too tired to blog about it.

Okay this is too weird. I wrote to the BBC “Have Your Say” section about Tiananmen Square coordinating with my post I wrote and it actually got posted. I couldn’t believe it. Wow.

We must not ever forget the masscre that happen on June, 4th 1989 at Tiananmen Square, China where people were killed for speaking thier minds against the government. We sat here thousands of miles away to watch in horror as the Chinese government slaughtering innocent poor souls, most of the college students who fought for their basic rights to speak their minds and a change in the government. We sit there in front of the television watching these student fight for the freedoms that we take forgranted here in the United States.

11 years later, I stood in that spot in the year 2000 and somehow when I was in that square, I couldn’t shake off those images of the students, suddenly well up with sadness when I was there. The ironic part is that we were there at that conference to promote the “Chinese Agenda” and that is all I can say about it. I also got the oppunitity to see the Great Hall of People and wonder what those leaders were discuss behind those closed doors of their power.

Let us remember them,

Let us not forget what they fought for.

Remember the Tiananmen Massacre,

Let us not forget.

Hello All:

Yups I been alive and I am still around. I been dogged tired but it hasn’t been all work though ;0)

Give you a skinny on what has happen.

Friday - Got up way early to go to work early so I can leave early to go to Gay Days at Great America with my gay buddies. It was truly a blast. Lines for the rides were ultra short so I got to do the rides , Vortex, Demon , Drop Zone and many more. Something with a bunch a half naked men romping around various ride attraction has its benefits and the bonus part that our tickets we bought goes directly to charity. Nothing better than that.

Saturday: Consist of us waking up late and playing a whole round of mahjong late into the night until it was time for us to go party to the tunes of my favorite DJ: Victor Calderone, I had such a blast with my buddies and dance into the wee hours of the dawn with the people I care about.

Sunday: Was my sick day. Too much partying.

Monday: Was a day just to relax and get some house cleaning done but I also went to dim sum with my best buddies to catch up and have some gelato by the wharf. The weather was absolutely gorgeous.

Tuesday: Went to work, welcome back our boss who came back maternity leave. Wish my godbro safe trip back to Houston because he had some family business to take care of. But also it was a busy day and my brother and I got into a huge fight that night as well. He knock over some of my stuff down in my room and call me an idiot. I did NOT let him going to get away with it. He had the audacity to tell me what to do in MY room where I should put my stuff. He doesn’t pay rent in this household and therefore have no say. He reverted back into a ten year old trying to prove his point and I made him stamp out of the house not returning for the rest of the week. God I felt good at that moment. My dad was on my side but my mom wasn’t and continue to nagged at me for the rest of the night. I also lost my tempered at her as well. Not a good night for the me.

Today: It was a crazy day at my workplace. It seems like all my cases were all going to be active and we found out we got a huge case coming our way. It looks like I will be involved in that case because I been already doing stuff for it already. Simple fears and hoping that I will be mentally ready for it because I feel like a weakling these days.

Finally doctor guy: He going to Altanta to be the best man to his brother’s wedding. And wanted me to be his date. awwwwwwww One day, I can only hope. I made him a CD for him and I hope he likes it.
