Well I just came home from the Vienna Teng concert. The place can easily fit a thousand people and it was pack solid. Quite a change from over a year ago. When she was just starting out and we had just started listening to her. Now getting her autograph took more than half a hour to get her. She was very patient and sign all of her cases. Now both of my album are autograph by her.

I met up with Janice at the Bart station so we can head over there together, but before that we both went into Chinatown to get some hot and sour soup. Janice is one cool person in person. She’s friendly and easy to get along with, it just funny that we talk to each other online and then we finally get to meet each other in person. After we were done we hopped on the bus and guess who I runned into….. Guppieluv. She was heading to the concert with her friends as well. It also funny that we lives within blocks of each other and we only met up like 3 times. So we went together. Some of my freinds have already enter while we waited on Janice’s friend with the tickets. But I let her tell that part of the story. With the wait, I met up with Mona and Raven and a little bit later, Cat and Will. The downside to all of this that they couldn’t save enough seats for all of us to sit together. So the whole group was scatter throughout the place. There was an opening act by someone who I have forgotten but she sang very well in the first hour, great voice but too hippy for my taste.

Then Vienna came out, we were memerized with songs from her new album, like Mission Street, Harbor, Hope on Fire and my favorite her hidden track of an old Taiwanese folk song, The Green Island Seranade. We also got to see Eric Cheng on the cello for a few songs. After the concert we all waited in line to get her autograph. We were able to meet up with a few more RBJers and got to talk to Adam Tow and Eric for a bit. It was very nice to finally be able to catch up with Eric after not seeing him for almost a year. We also got in for a group pics which will follow in the entry. I won’t write too much about it since there will be oh another 10 entries of this.

The night before I went clubbing with my buddies of mines. We of course had fun going out as a group, but last night there was a few guys who I got the attention of because of my dancing and wanted to battle with me. Battling is basically a dance off and I have never done one of those before in my life………and I got three that night from 3 different guys. I didn’t do as well as they did. But for them to ask me to step up the plate was quite an honor and I had fun doing it. I also got tons of a compliments on my hip hop dancing from various people that night. That is something I am really proud of at the moment. Considering I had 2 left feet 4 years ago. hehehe.

This week is practically the week of hell for me. I come home everyday dead tired and wondering when will I see the end of the tunnel. Working in multiple departments is slowly taken a toll on me and along with people being sick with the showers that has been going on this week. I feel that I am not that far behind. Give me the strength to survive tomorrow. For I will go insane if I don’t.

On a good note. This Sunday will be two cool events. My coworker forward me a same sex Argentine Tango class which I am looking forward too and the Vienna Teng concert.

Have you ever thought if one major events or a series of events never happened, what would your life be now?

I was talking to Ray on MSN last night and getting to know each other better, he a guy who recently posting on the forums on RBJ. Both of us had a lot in common in the fact that both of us are driven to learn and get the most out of life. Both of us had life changing events that change and defined of how our current lives are now. I sit back after I logged off and getting ready for bed on how my life might have been if one major event didn’t happen. In my case my two dear friends dying on that fateful day. How would I be like?

Probably not as happy as I would be now, probably won’t have come out to my parents, probably still struggling on who I am and probably won’t have the confidence I have today.

Life offers a lot a cases of sliding doors in your life and it up to you to go through that particular door or not. For all the aspects of your decisions will shape your future in life. Just something to ponder about in this rainy morning in San Francisco, it’s ugly out there but the raindrops can be so soothing to your soul.

One of my freind L is going through some reality of gay life and drama. “L” is a guy in Malaysia that is still trying to figure out his sexuality and when I first talk to him. I thought he was YET another one of those freakish stalkers that I have dealt with in the past. But in the end, he turn out to be a good friend. (And no ways I am hooking up with you in Malaysia when I going to meet you. Puhahaha I am so going to embarass you right now.

But back to him, he finally got a dose of reality of gay drama: People who lead you on and play mind games with you. When he told me about the story about this guy who wanted to meet up with him only to be burn at the end. I saw the signs of it early on and told him not to pursue any further. But he didn’t want to listen and forgo on my warning. And tonight he goes on telling me that he got played and now questioning about “being” gay. But my message to him, suck it up, learn from it and move on. You can’t dwell on the negativity and if you want to get sucked into it. It will make you jaded and bitter. (I was there at a time, but I move on.)

He also ask how I deal with it…. By not going surrounded myself with the drama in the first place. I avoid the Castro (San Francisco Gay Mecca) like a plague, I am also good and spotting out the “drama” magnets and keep those meeting to a minimal and one of the few gay men who keeps more straight friends than gay friends in San Francisco. I think all those factors played a part of who I am today and each person’s experiences are unique to them. What has worked for me might not worked for other people, as each life is unique as is. It’s what makes us special. Remember that.

P.S Oh Happy Birthday to Raven btw. We celebrated last Friday. He shoud be asleep by now. I had a blast!!!

George Bush is worried by San Francisco “civil disobience” to cease and decease the issue of marriage license to gay couple.

My thing to him: Whatever.

I have no respect what so ever of our president. When he speaks on TV, I just press the mute button because I would rather hear a monkey speak than him.

So he’s our commander in chief. Whatever…

But here is my stance on this issues. I don’t exactly agreed on the approach on what they have been doing issuing these marriage licenses. I just want the same rights enjoy by a married couple when I do finally find the right man for me. But I love our mayor to see that we are just human rather than sick beings that these Republicans think we are. I bet all they do is find quotes in their Bible to hide behind their hate and biogtry. Funny how these Republicans favor a small government but want a constituional amendment to support thier selfish causes.

If I ever become Republican KILL ME.

Thank goodness for a 3 day weekend. I am still recovering from the whirlwind of fun that I had with my friends. For this is the weekend where I had the most fun for a while. I went out clubbing with my gay friends to Mezzanine on Saturday and on Sunday courtesy of my godbrother and his boyfriend, I got to go to Sanctuary with them as well. Both nights was full of fun and cruising cute guys. And best of all all of us had our shirts off. LOL. Yes I got hit on and I leave it at that. But am I paying the price of staying out late. I didn’t come home till 6am on BOTH nights. How I find the energy to do that is beyond me.

Today I also went out with my other buddies to welcome back our dear friend Diane from her trip from Brazil. Remind you I am operating on 4 hours of sleep. So I wasn’t on my GQ looks as usual but then again I am glad that everyone well look like they were out the night before, so I was in good company. She brought many pictures of her trip to Sao Paulo and Rio de Janerio as she has a lot of relatives down there. So her experience of Brazil for truly unique more than your average tourist would have gotten to experience. She for one got to go to her cousin graduation and party afterwards. And got a sense of the local life there. She brought back bearing gifts for everyone and I got a bottle of South American pickle pepper and two postcards (because I collect them.) Well I am glad she is back.

I also checked on my other friends to see how they is doing. I also got to talk to Siri tonight as well. We both have miss each other a lot and today she finally got a day off to relax and catch up. She also had something fun to tell me as well. She got invited to an VIP event for tomorrow to meet with Jet Li and see a preview of his new movie. So providing that she gets a day off tomorrow, (which I hope) then I will be accompanying her to this event. Isn’t that cool?

Well this is my special set of friends. For they are my only gay friends who I can even consider as close. This is the picture form the lunch/bday party for my friend E. For years, I have dealt with too much drama within the gay community and I never ever wanted to be a part of that negativity. I been very lucky that I have finally found a bunch of friends who as loyal and caring as I am. We have known each other for over 4 months and with that our bonds as freinds seems to get closer and closer. That was very evident tonight. When I went dancing with the gang here. We each buddy up with each other and made sure everyone was okay. Just like my straight friends. If one was missing then we hunt each other down; if one is tired, we made sure that he got some rest; even before we went to go dancing, we play a couple of mahjong, full of life and energy. Jokes flying about and the constant yelling. We all speak cantonese to one another and it that very comfort level that our bond has become stronger.

My godbrother (the one in white next to me, not the bald one.) has me to meet with his boyfriend. You can really tell he is in love this guy and really wanted me to meet him. Our meeting was excellent and I gave my blessing to my godbrother. This new boyfriend and I got along really well and I can’t wait to I get to know him better.

I am feeling very lucky and loved at the moment. This is something that was missing in my life and I am going to cherish it.

Okay this will probably be one of my very few rants about work. Mostly because I love the coworkers that I hang around. Even the partners are cool. But there is a few black sheeps that can bring the mood down and today, it brought me down to a moody and stress out guy.

One of the attorneys I work for tends to not follow through on set meetings or just not being clear on his instructions. I tend to be very organized and a very good team player. If someone ask for my help, I would more than likely help out; but there are fewer of us around and our caseload has double since. But we are handling it very well, mainly because we are willing to help out each other when we are in a bind. But does he realize that some of us are on other cases now? NO~!

I was suppose to generate 7 memos/reports for this attorney for our files. This is my first time doing it. I thought it was due tomorrow. And with me, I usually am an afternoon person and do my best work in the afternoon. What did the attorney say?? It due this afternoon and I don’t know what to do and he says no extension. Forunately, I am a quick study and I had one of my coworkers that help me. (Thank You!! You know who you guys are.) I manage to get 4 of those memo out. Some of the other files were in someone else office and when I ask him for the files. It not fully complete. I know he’s busy and all. But sometime I wish he was more organized or at least follow through when he says he will. *sigh* Thank God this client is going away soon. Now, I know why so many of legal assistants don’t like dealing with him.

Okay enough with my rants. Tomorrow is Friday and I can’t ask for anything more.

There are so manypeople with newborn babies around me now that I can start a day care center. Seriously.

Lovely Cyn and M the hedgie queen has lovely girl JL last month.
Dr. Scottie and Amy with their new daughter Ooseung on Feb 2nd .
Lovely Shy and Cowboy with their lovely girl Chaeli last week as well.

(Hmmmm Random thought: one more and they can start their version of Joy Luck Club.)

And

My manager gave birth to a son last week.
and the person who I took over in Accounting part time is having her son next week or the week after.

One more people are going on maternity leave next month.

and two more just got pregreant.

With 4 babies last year……

Thank god I was born a guy. That’s all I got to say. *grins*

My cousin got married last year. The twin of the female (my other cousin) is getting married to her fiance on their one year anniversary and a few days after my birthday. Cool!

Well for those who don’t know yet. I am planning my trip to Asia with possibly 3 coworkers and best buddy Jenny for March of 2005. We are planning a 5 (possibly 6) country 18 day shopping and sightseeing trip since half of them has never been to Asia and since I have a lot of friends over there. Especially in Malaysia and Singapore that it warrants a visit to meet all of them and see their lovely faces.

This is our TENTATIVE schedule of where we are going.

SFO to

Singapore - 2 days and then take bus up to
Malaysia - 4-5 days (Malacca, Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Penang) Fly out Penang to
Thailand - 3 days (Bangkok) and fly out of Bangkok to
Hong Kong- 4-5 days and hopefully even cross the border to China for a few hours after Hong Kong final desination is
Japan - 3 days (Tokyo) where we fly back home.

How is this possible? The Cathay Pacific All Asia Pass 1000 dollars and 21 days in ANY of the cities that they have listed. A bargain for some people who has never been to Asia.

I know the schedule is tight but I want to expose them to as many countries as possible and fill up their passport with cool passport stamps hehehe. But also we know shopping is cheap over there and since all of us are skinny, we need clothes that FIT us. Nowhere else but in Asia that we can do that at the fraction of the price we are paying here.

There is also a lot of people I need to visit especially the Asian RBJ members, some of them who I have just met to some of them I have known for a while like Rasee, Cindy and Pipsy. I think I will be one of the few ones who be traveling more than 3000 miles to meet any of them. hehehehe.

I am so excited. I already started saving.

I also have a Valentine “date” this year with a freind, who just recently broke up with his boyfriend and wanting to cheer him up, ask him to be my valentines since D can’t see me till the next day. Well at least I get to buy a rose for someone. My “date” is a sweet guy and he deserves better and at least I hope to keep his mind occupied on me instead of the break up….. I hope.

UPDATE: SEVEN NEW PEOPLE ADDED TO MY READING LIST AND 5 UPGRADE TO MY DAILIES. (well I read them more now hahaha and it been 2 weeks. sheesh!)

Well today was a gorgeous day today. Crystal clear blue skies and mild weather. Such weather like this reminded me why I am not in the East Coast dealing with the bitter cold and misery and that is something I am thankful for.

Work was very hectic with me. Lots of various different work to do and we as a team are handling it well but it still stressful nevertheless.

Talk briefly with D last night. He’s the guy who I had a first date with. First date went relatively well. I am hopeful that we are progressing in the right direction. I hope.

I also renamed this blog to Rebirth since I felt this is a rebirth of who I am and always evolving me.

I also got into a slight arguement with my dad about his insurance stuff which I don’t know what happen with him on that.

I still have much to write about what has happen in the past two weeks. But I am heading off to class and will have to play catch up with all you guys later.

Well here I am 16 hours later and it about 90% done and I am pooped!!! My host and I change our blogging program from Moveable Type to Wordpress. It supposely to be more effiecent and quicker than MT and GM and it is php based and uses style sheets. This morning I still didn’t have any idea what style sheets were. My sister kept on laughing on me because she knows how to do it. I asked endless questions and here is the end product. There was moment I wanted to say “Screw This” and stop doing it all together. But I am not a quitter and am I glad I didn’t give up. I wanted to once again thank everyone who help me bring version 8.0 to life. Terence, Lele, Sion and Sinta. I love you guys and I am glad this is almost done.

For my reader who don’t know what happen. The internet company hosting dynamiqivison.com went down suddenly and bankrupt. No one was able to retrieve any of the back up files. So my archives. GONE. Sion went to find a new host and we did. So sorry for not lettign you guys know sooner.
